MARIE BELL

VICE PRESIDENT - TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT

Marie Bell serves as the Vice President of Training and Development at Preferred Apartment Communities. With over 22 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Marie has been a key player in the company’s growth and success for more than 15 years. She began her career on-site as a leasing professional and quickly advanced through the ranks to become a Property Inspector, showcasing her dedication and expertise in the field.

Marie is a licensed real estate broker and holds both the Certified Apartment Manager (CAM®) and Certified Apartment Portfolio Supervisor (CAPS®) credentials. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus on Real Estate from the University of Georgia.

Known for her exceptional interpersonal skills and keen attention to detail, Marie is passionate about training, mentoring, and fostering professional growth. She is responsible for establishing and executing strategies to address learning needs and professional development within the organization. Her initiatives include a comprehensive core curriculum for each job role, compliance training, and leadership development programs. Additionally, Marie oversees the implementation of policies and procedures, ensuring the company’s continued success.

Outside of work, Marie enjoys spending time with her husband and actively participates in community service with her sisters of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Incorporated. Her commitment to both her profession and community reflects her dedication to making a positive impact in all aspects of her life.
